Sizing

Since these boots are custom and made to order it is very important that we accurately measure your feet to ensure the best fit possible. All lasts are a little different so these measurements are not universal to all shoes. By taking the steps below to measure your feet it will help us determine the correct size of our boot for you. Be sure to measure both the left and right foot as one foot is typically bigger than the other and we will work off of the larger of the two.

To measure your feet correctly you will need a letter or legal size piece of paper, a magic marker or pencil, a tape measure with millimeter markings and a ruler. If you wear your shoes with socks, be sure to measure your feet with your socks on.

With the paper on the floor, place your foot on the paper, be sure your foot is flat on the floor not leaning one way or the other. Holding your marker at a 90 degree angle, make an outline around your foot. When drawing the line around the arch of your foot be sure to keep the marker vertical to the paper. Outline the entire foot.

Once the foot is outlined and you're still standing on the paper, with your marker, mark the widest most points of outer and inner metatarsal, then make a mark on either side of the highest part of the instep.

Take your tape measure and measure the circumference at these points using the millimeter side of your tape measure. Step off the paper

Using your ruler draw a line from the outer to inner point of the metatarsal. Measure this line in millimeters. This will give you the  ball of foot width. Then draw a line from the center heel to the tip of the longest toe. Measure this in millimeters. This will give you the length of your foot.

Once you place your order we will reach out to you for your measurements. Of course if you have any questions prior to ordering send an email to info@walkerandrose.com and we will be glad to assist.
